Introduced as a long overdue replacement of several legacy products; the MDA100-QD is a simple analogue switching device made for toggling between incoming calls from a desk phone and a PC. The program goal was to keep development & product costs low while increasing durability and reliability. Visual design had to be simple yet striking along with intuitive usability and strong functionality. With the addition of an (easy mute) button the final product cured the common `mute anxiety’ for many office telephone users.
